The BASIS PROMPT Pest Controllers register is an industry initiative which provides independent proof that a pest controller has received proper professional training and has continued to update their expertise through Continuing Professional Development (CPD). As registration has to be renewed each year, members of the register will always be aware of the most up-to-date techniques, products and legal obligations.
The NPTA is a professional membership Association within the UK with over 850 “memberships”. They are probably the largest UK membership body in the UK Pest Control Industry.
A scheme known as the Professional Pest Technicians Registration Scheme (PPTRS) allows Pest Control Technicians (PCT) with specified and approved levels of training to hold a special registration. This registration also shows directly that a PCT has achieved these standards in the form of an identity card complete with photograph.
